Condition type- exclusion Indicator

In condition types we can specify exclusion

A- Invoice list

O- Event

X- Net price etc..

How are these used? What makes them differet?

hi,

if we specify exclusion indicator in the condition type, the system will automatically excludes the condition types that fall below this condition type during sales order processing.

for ex: it is relevant for a base price, so that system will automatically excludes all discounts condition types that falls under this base price

Thank you i have awarded the points but its not clear to me when we should use O-event & A-invoice list.

Hiii i know the system will exclude all the condition types which comes below that condition type in pri proc with the same requirement. What i wanted to know is how are

A- Invoice list

O- Event

X- Net price etc..

these three indicators different from each other? When should we use each of them.

I hope now my question is more clear.

Hi,

These are options which tells where you want Condition Types to be excluded. Like if you wanna exclude condition in Net Value, then you'll use 'A' in Exclusion field.

Sometimes the situation arises that one pricing procedure has a lot of dicounts...and depending on certain conditions like quntity,value of sale we choose to give discount to customer...

In such cases system need to compare which best discount should be given to customer and the rest of discount condtion types shd be excluded...

In above scenario exclusion Indicator is used...
