    Hi Swetha,

While configuring ITS you refer a R/3 system which will be referred for accessing all transaction/screens. These standard/custom ESS/MSS applications are either enabled through transactions/RFCs.

Now you can access these application on portal by creating Portal system (with ITS parameters this system) and then create transaction iviews for the same using new system. Finally you have to assign these iviews to ESS/MSS roles. so that user can access them.

Please let me know if you are looking for details of each of these steps.

    Hope this helps.

      HI!

      Swetha!

if you are panning to get installed 6.0EEC, actaully you need to get instatalled EP 7.0 which is WAS enabled. At the time of installation only basis adminstrators will select the required bausiness packages like ESS and MSS then automaically those packages get imported into the portal. The ERP 2005s is shipped with this facility besides the reuired JCos, Web dynpro applications etc.. Once the istallatin is done properly and if you can see the required iViews in the portal, you can do the customization in R/3.
