Problem with B1if Scenario Step atom “Call Crystal Report”

Hi,

We want to implement a B1if – Scenario-Step to save marketing documents as .pdf-file in a special folder by using Crystal Reports Layouts. Adding a new marketing document is defined as Trigger for our scenario step.

The scenario step consists of 4 atoms:

1. Xform atom: to define the parameters to call the rpt.-file
2. “Call crystal report” atom: corresponding rpt.-file is saved in the folder ../B1iXcellerator/reports
3. Xform atom: to forward the generated base64-Code to the next atom
4. Store file atom: to store a PDF in a special folder

This procedure works fine if we use a simplified CR-Layout which only prints the Business Partner CardCode and CardName by passing the CardCode as Parameter.

If we use a standard CR-Layout for marketing documents we are getting the following error message in the “Call crystal report” atom:

“com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.report.lib.ReportSDKException: Unexpected database connector error ---- Error code:-2147467259 Error code name:failed”

We found a SAP note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1986318/E which focused on this problem. But it should be fixed by a higher patch level https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1993301 .

We are usingSAP Business One 9.2 PL: 06 and Crystal Reports for SAP Business One 2013 Support Pack 5 (Version 14.1.5.1501).

Has anyone solved this problem or some suggestions to solve it?
