Set Sales Organization in Support Message

Former Member

Hello together,

new Support Messages reports the following errors:

Enter a sales organization

Enter a distribution channel

Enter an organizational unit(Sales)

The Sales Area Data of the relevant Business Partner are maintained in section Sold-To-Party with the currency EUR.

The hierarchy of the service Provider is maintained in PPOMA_CRM.

Anyone an idea how to get rid of the error messages?

Thanks

Christian Kock

Hi,

Go into your message.

Goto Transaction Data and Tab Organization.

Is there a Sales Organization and a Service Organization available?

If not, you have to maintain them.

Do this in transaction BP.

Select your Business Partner with the role of Sold-to Party.

Goto the Sales Area of the Sold-to Party.

Select the Sales Organization and Service Organizaiton of the Sold-to Party.

Kind regards,

Hi,

in Transaciton Data there is no Tab Organization. According to that there is no Sales Organization or Service Organization availabel.

I've done the Customizing on Sold-to Party of my business Partner several times, but there is no reaction.

I've had worked on note 824640, but it is not very usefull. Maybe note 824640 adresses only Solution Manager 3.20, i am working an release 4.0.

So any useful hints anywhere?

Kind regards,

Hi,

Goto tcode: CRMC_PROCESS_MA.

Open the Business Transaction you are using for creating Support messages.

Select or create first, a Organizational Data Profile. I think, in your case, it's empty at the moment.

it sounds like you have added these three partner functions to your Support Message and they are marked as required.

To determine if this is the situations, do the following:

in SPRO go to the Service Desk activity named Partner Determination Procedure

Highlight SLFN0001

Click the Partner Functions in Procedure folder on the left

Do you see those three Partner Functions you mentioned?

If you want to keep them there but not make them mandatory, remove the value in the field named Minimum (you have to scroll left to see it).

If you don't want those fields maintained, remove them from the table.
