SCCR_LOCK_CLIENT locking client

Former Member

Hi,

I need to lock client using a background program.

So I decide to use F.M. SCCR_LOCK_CLIENT called in a abap report.

It works, infact users aren't able to connect when they use sapgui, but when they use html-gui, they are able to connect, bypassing the client locked state.

Can somebody help me?

Thanks.

Mario

How about SAP Note:

562628 CC-ADMIN: Protecting the source from a second copy

I guess that's the limitation for WebGui.

Hi,

You want to lock only a particular client or the entire system?

If entier system you can use the following command at the OS level

tp locksys pf=tpprofile

tp unlocksys pf=tpprofile

Only SAP* and DDIC can log on.

No, I need only to lock the "Dialog" user.

Thanks.
