Hello Avi,

Actually design specs depends on the business requirement. When you design specs at that time you need to consider the following

- How your client is doing business?

- Do they do cycle count at bin level or quant level?

- Are they using Storage unit?

- Are they using serial number?

The standard flow is explained very well in the following link:

<a href="http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.virginia.edu/integratedsystem/howdoi/HTML/PRO6515U_temp_image002.gif&imgrefurl=http://www.virginia.edu/integratedsystem/howdoi/HTML/PRO6515U.htm&h=864&w=480&sz=15&hl=en&start=11&um=1&tbnid=MZueioj6nOa4DM:&">Cycle count</a>

Hope this helps.

Hi Arif,

The client is using serial numbers for materials and cycle counting needs to be done at bin level. No SUM used here.

Hello Avi,

The standard transaction is available for cycle count on RF. The transaction code is LM52

You need to do the following configuration to use RF screen for cycle count.

Pre-requisites: You have completed all the configuration related to cycle count for your warehouse number

1. Setup user profile to use RF transaction

SPRO --> Logistics ececution --> Mobile data entry --> RF queue management --> Assign Processor to Queues

Here you add user name with warehouse number, screen settings and make that active (check box)

2. Define menu management

SPRO --> Logistics ececution --> Mobile data entry --> Define menu management

Here you assign your transaction to RF menu path so that will be available on RF device.

Hope this helps.

Hello Terry,

When you do cycle count at bin level at that time system will block the complete bin and you need to count all the material/quant in that particular bin eventhough only one material/quant is due for count, also unless until you will not be able to do any transaction for that bin.

When you go for quant level at that time you carry out only count for that particular quant/material.

Hope this helps.
