does not display a UOM on the pulldown on the sales order for the material

hi sap gurus

i have a issue like this

i have sales org x, dist y, material xyz does not display a UOM on the pulldown. This is an ssue for EDI, as it validates the UOM. hi can anybody tell me why unit of meaure not displaying on the pulldown on the sales order. plz solve at ur earliest convienice.

Hi,

Pls goto your general settings and check unit of measurement. When you select

Unit of measurement button,the list of UOM is displayed. Pls select any unit of measurement and there is a section for ALE/EDI and the ISO code needs to be maintained for the same. If this is not populated then you have an issue in getting the UOM for ALE or EDI.
