I'm trying to install the SAP patch "SAPKW70012" to my SAP discovery server using transaction "SPAM". I get the error:
"SAPKW70012 requires at least version 0021 of the
Support Package Manager"
Where do I download a newer version of "Support Package Manager"?
Please provide specific steps and don't just say "go to http://service.sap.com/patches". These patch sites have very complex navigational trees and I get lost in them very easily.
Also, which specific version of Support Package Manager do I want?
Also, I see "Support Package Stacks for SAP NetWeaver 2004s released after April 2nd, 2007 will ONLY be available via SAP Solution Managers Maintenance Optimizer." Do I want to install that system or am I find downloading/installing .CAR patch files? If I should download that, how do I do so?
FYI: This is a standard SAP Discovery Server running Microsoft Windows and NetWeaver 2004s.
I upgraded the SAP kernel from patch level 58 to patch level 95, tp.exe works great from the command line, however I'm getting this error:
Error in phase: CHECK_REQUIREMENTS
Reason for error: TP_CANNOT_CONNECT_SYSTEM
Return code: 0212
Error message: could not access file as supposed (see SLOG for more details)
I'm really stumped by this issue and could use some help.

OK:
- I got the patch, "SPAM/SAINT Update - Version 700/0023" (SAPKD70023)
- I uncompress, copy files to correct server directory
- Run Transaction "SPAM"
- Choose menu Support Package -> Import SPAM/SAINT Update
And then I get the following error:
Error in phase: CHECK_REQUIREMENTS
Reason for error: TP_CANNOT_CONNECT_SYSTEM
Return code: 0249
Error message: connect failed due to DbSL load lib failure.
Any idea?
