Experts,
I am posting a document in USD for a Co Cd which has CAD as it's local(Co Cd currency) - on the document header, i changed the exchange rate to a particular rate - However when i am entering a line item, i get this error:
Calculated rate deviates from document header rate by 60%
I understand that the calculated rate is using a diff rate and that's the reason i am getting this error - However i want to know, how can i change this rate on the calculated one ?
All answers would be duly rewarded with points.
Thanks,
Nandita
Hi Nandita,
This depends upon the setting made in configuration for deviation from the standard exchange rate maintained in OB08. Please check the percentage of deviation permitted in transaction code OBY6 - Company Code global parameters.
Thanks

Hi Nandita
You can assign your own exchange rate for USD but the difference between the system exchange rate and rate entered by you manually should not be exceeding the tolerance limits.
In your case it is close to 60%
see that the rate entered by you is close the below
1 USD = 1.05335 CAD
1 CAD = 0.949352 USD
thanks
