Sapscript alignment

Hi Experts,

in the output of sapscript,ihave to display nmae1 and name2 fields like this:

in a row.Here name is ravi and name2 is kumar

ravi Kumar ravi kumar

Actully the length of name1 and name2 is 40 so i am doing like this:

&itab-name1(40)&&itab-name2(40)& &itab-name(40)&&itab-name2(40)&

But the out put is

ravi kumar ravi kumar

How to reduce gap between name1 and name2?If remove 40 then right side part is moving to left.

The above row corresponds to a single paragraph format.

Can any body tell me how to resolve this?

Regards

    Hi,

    Before sending to output for SAPSCRIPT use condense to reduce the gap for name1 and 2.

    Hi,

    Check this,

    DATA: BEGIN OF sentence,

    word1 TYPE c LENGTH 30 VALUE 'She',

    word2 TYPE c LENGTH 30 VALUE 'feeds',

    word3 TYPE c LENGTH 30 VALUE 'you',

    word4 TYPE c LENGTH 30 VALUE 'tea',

    word5 TYPE c LENGTH 30 VALUE 'and',

    word6 TYPE c LENGTH 30 VALUE 'oranges',

    END OF sentence,

    text TYPE string.

    text = sentence.

    CONDENSE text.

    U can define it by no-gaps option also.

    Rewards points if it is useful.

    Hi Ravi,

    Use the tab option of the paragraph format...

    &itab-name1& &itab-name2& ,,&itab-name& &itab-name2&

    the tab should be set at approx 80 char...

    Regards,

    Satya
