u need to configure the output type in SPRO: Sales and distribution: Basic functions : Output control : output determination

and this should fix your problem

Hi Keyur,

Maintain condition record for output condition type.

Go to VV11, enter the output condition type and maintain the data.

Go to sales order and issue output.

Hello Keyur,

Check all settings in configuration for OUTPUT DETERMINATION.

Also maintain condition records in VV11 and then issue output in sales order.

Also, check whether output is triggered automatically or else in sales order Extras>Output>Header-->Edit. Maintain output type manually there.

Hi Keyur,

We assign the output types to the partner functions in order to know which partner should be receiving the output that is being created.

The error that no output has been selected for printing must be because of not assign any output condition type in the order document. From the Sales Document Screen use the standard menu and select Extras -> Output -> Header -> Edit and enter the output condition. Now issue the output and check if it works fine.

Hello Keyur,

We assign output types to our partners as we need to send the copy of the documents like sales, delivery etc. for their reference.

While assigning output types we assign the medium through which documents reach to the customer via EDI, Email etc.
