Thousand separator and decimal separator

Hi

I am loading data from flatfiles

at the infopackage level I have selected thousand separator as , and decimal point as .

so that it will display the data as 12,5666.78 at the bex level and in the webtempalte it shows as 12.5666.78

Now my user wants at the webtemplate level the figure to be dispalyed as 12,5666.78

so at the infopackage level I have selected thousand separator as . and decimal point as , so that at the BEX level it is displayed as 12.5666.78and in webtemplate its displayed as

12,5666.78 , this is working fine with one of the cube but not working with other cube what could be the problem ,pls let me know

Hi,

Go to t.code su01d and give user name id and go to defaults tab and see how the decimal notatation is specified there..

I have seen in SU01 the Decimal notation was 1,234,567.89

I have changed it to 1.234.567,89

loading data but still does not displaying any changes

any other suggestions pls

Hi,

could you please check system properties .

start - controlpanel -- regionaland language options - check the tab of regional options , see how they have defined the number.. ( you change the format there by choosing based on country , the number will be changed)

I have changed the settings of English (Unites States ) Thousand sepearator as . and decimal point as , but still I cant see any change in my data

Have you restarted the system after changing the settings..??

After that check the data..
