hi all,

We can create our own new variables for characteristics, text, formula, hierarchy and hierarchy nodes.

And we can use the existing defined text, characteristics and formula variables.

but before using the predefined text or formula variables. how to identify the contents of the those variables. And in which tables are those variables in bex analyzer are been stored.

for example : predefined formula variable : profit = cost - sales price.

can anyone help me out.

thanxs in advance

Hi,

bit long but try this

go to table RSZGLOBV and here you can find formula variable related to your reports.it will give you information about all the variables type in the system.

go to table RSZELTDIR and here give the definition type of an element as FML for formula and you can get the lis of all the formulas( you can search the description in the table) .

pick you formula based on the description get ELTUID from here and give it as input to the table RSZCALC and it will give you all the operators involved.

there is no other alternative.

Thanks
