mapping problem while testing

I got a runtime exception which was stating as, 'EXCEPTION_DURING_EXECUTE' ..

I have even gone through many of the previous forums but unable to get a proper solution, because we are not directly handling with the maps, instead we have third party mapping(Datastage or Mercator)between the two entities..

So,can anyone help me out in this issue..

Im very new to XI, and if suppose i have projected the exception wrongly, please help me for rectifying myself by suggesting your valuable points

This is the error message displayed

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>

when the trace was opened and the root cause was found the following was there

<b>Root Cause: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Map: map /data/DSPXD/data/maps/PXD/IF007BN1.A81 failed: </b>One or more inputs was invalid at com.philips.pbas.xi.datastage.XICallDatastage.execute(XICallDatastage.java:158) at com.sap.aii.ibrun.server.mapping.JavaMapping.executeStep(JavaMapping.java(Compiled Code))

we have not made any mappings and they are handled by others . we use a java map to call those mappings.

    Hi,

Check if your input Values are correct .

I guess Inputvalues you gave must be invalid.

    Award points if Usefull............

    Hi

The input values which you are giving is not matching the data type of import parameters.

    Thanks

That is not good to change the input values in the Huge flat file. If you change this time then if any new file comes then also you need to change them manually.

The problem with the JAVA mapping, You please conteact the person who written the JAVA mapping and ask him to debbug with this current data. So that he can resolve the problem. From you side you need not to do anything.

      Warm Regards,

      Vijay
