Problem with formula Properties

Hi All,

I have two formulas in query. The Properties of two fromula are set to Number of decimal places four (0.0000) saved and executed the query. But In the work book the Number of decimal places are not reflecting even though I saved the work book also and aslo I genreted report in RSRT. what could be the problem.

I executed the query in RSRT and able to see four decimal places (0.0000) for two formulas. but not in work book.

Can anybody help me

Thanks in advance

    Narendra,

RSRT is a transaction that runs a query - running a workbook is different. I'm guessing that in your workbook - your Query Properties - Interaction Tab - are sent not to Return to Global Definition on refresh.

What this means is that if you have changed you query since you embedded it in your workbook, your workbook is not seeing the change.

Open your workbook, right mouse click on your query and select Properties. Go to the Interaction tab and tick the option to Return to Global Definition on refresh. Remember to save your workbook so retain this setting.

    Regards

    Gill

    try this out:

Open the workbook->then Open the Query designer from same worksheet (Change Query global definition)->make the changes in Query-->Save and Execute right away...Now you will see the changes updated in Query.

    Or

remove the Query from workbook and Insert again.
