Work center formula?

Hi Guys,

I have an issue for one of our routing steps. The operation is called "Joining", here we join links to make a chain. Some chains need 10 links, 20, 50, 100....etc. Now in routings, I want to give time to join 10 links, and I want SAP to calculate how much time it takes to make a chain depending on the number of links used.

How do I do this? Is there a formula I can use in work center?

Hi,

Create the parameters using op17.

Create a standard value key using op19,

Then to create formulas use op21.

Assign this std. value key to the workcenter.

Enter the base qty as 10,20,30 & create different routings,with group counter 1,2,3...

Then create a production version,with the combination of bom & routings.

When creating an order, choose the prod version based on the no. of links & then this routing will be picked up.

Can you maintain different work center for the operations ie 10 links one work center, 20 links one work center etc.,

and create routing with these work centers with different group counters.

Create prodn version for this and use it
