Hi All

Could any one please tell us how to assign users into a recipient group.

Recipient group can be found from SPRO IMG

Training and event management --> Day to day Activities --> Correspondance --> Notification Abbreviations

Pritam

Dear Pritam,

With the Definition of the recepient groups you can specify for which recipient group which function module should be linked / should be used.

In the function module it is decided whom the correppondece will be sent.

F.e.:

Recipient group Prebooked -> RH_GET_ADDR_PREB (function module)

If you prebook a course with one of your Objects (Person, User, Candidate, Org. Unit, etc..) than the object automatically belongs to the Prebooked group.

For the "prebooked" group you can specify different notification types they call the function module.

I hope i could clearify the question.

Kind regards,

Zsolt

Hi Zoslt,

It was a very helpful answer but iwould like to know that if i am want to give my own logic for defining the user recipient group then we need to define custom module, but when i am doing that it is not triggering the function module. Can you please tell me whether we need to do any configuration changes for the same?

Pritam,

I think you have created your module and assigned it to a receipent group at T77VG, right?

I've done that but I also still have the same problem, it doesn't send mail to the group. I have tested the module, it successfully fill the table ADDRESSE.

Any help?

I'm still working on this problem. I'm try to send a notice to some specific event organizer employee (names determined in a Z* table) when an event is firmly booked. I assign "Notification Abbreviations and Activities" (T77VI), I use "BOKF" as activity and assign a customer created Not. Abbr. (a form assigned to it at T77VD and Medium "I" is assigned) but as I mentioned it fails. I also tried "ORGA" and it works at Manuel Output(PP40); it reads my function module and determines correctly the recipients.

Any one know a solution or at least some more details on Activities? (is it possible to add more activities with customer coding, if yes where and how )

Pritam,

Regarding not to triggering the function module; do you mean it doesn't stop a your break point (if you set)? Because it does not stop at mine however it somehow read and execute the module I write. Wonder why?
