Functiona Upgrade plan for SAP BW 7.4 Oracle DB

Hello team,

We are planning SAP BW upgrade from 7.0 to 7.4 non Hana system.

Can some one share functional upgrade scope in SAP BW 7.4 non hana system. We have considered below points for functional upgrade .

1) Check New functionality-for Semantic Partition Object (SPO)
2) Migration of BW modelling Object from 3.5x to 7.X
3) Migration of BEX Queries from 3.X to 7.X
4) Migration of Rsecadmin Authorization from 3.X to 7.X
5) Check for New NLS Functioanlity

Hi Rupesh,

please also do not forget to check this note 1823174 - BW 7.4 changes and customer-specific programs and adjust custom coding

Can we use "ODP and ODQ framework using SLT" in SAP BW 7.4 Non HANA DB(oracle DB)?

is it add-on tool available in SAP BW 7.4 or do we need to install SLT separately?

No, SLT is not included, it has to be installed separately.
