What is user parameter in PAyroll,
What is its uses and when.
parameter is nothing but specifining the county grouping
EX which country payroll u r useing that that country should be enter

Hi Anand,
User Parameters help us to restrict the settings as per the parameter values we define.
You can choose country through parameter MOL (ie. 40 for India and 10 for USA) as well as usually we set the UGR parameter value also to restrict it based on the user group defined here.
If you are working on various countries configuration simutaneously, you should keep MOL blank.

User parameters supply defaults to SAP fields. If a field is indicated, the system automatically fills in the default value. They are contained in a user's profile.
Setting Your User Parameters
In the transactions that you normally use, there may be some screens in which you always enter the same value such as your cost object number. The "Parameters" screen lets you make certain values default into a field or screen.
Note : Not every field has a parameter ID
