SPNego Problem: Only on some PCs!!!!

Hi All

I have a really strange issue with SSO. I have reciently implemented SSO using the SPNego Wizard between my EP7 and Active Directory systems which works fine across the business.

However we have go a few PCs that it does'nt work on at all and I have no idea why. I have configured there browsers (IE6) to have the following:

Add J2EE Host to Local Intranet Sites

Disabbled HTTP proxy requests to the J2EE Host

Enabled Windows Authentication

I have even got a kerbros tool runnning on the desk to which keeps tracks of tickets but no joy!

Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?

Thanks in advance

Phil

Hi Phil,

please read the following notes :

968191

934138

Most of the time, if you use windows xp sp2, you need to install a special hotfix for kerberos.

Had some of my users that needed to have the portal url in trusted sites instead of intranet.

Yesterday I had an user that was able to use kerberos on some computers and some not.

It was a remembered wrong password in control panel/user accounts/advanced options/password manager that I had to delete.

Hi Phil,

did some google search this week for my spnego problem.

Here is what you can try (we never know) :

Put the computer in a workgroup then in the domain again.

Uninstall the MS Network client in the network card, reboot, reinstall it.

Update the network card driver.

Do you have some spnego or kerberos errors in the app/sys log (event viewer)?
