OBD2 is for creating account groups from FI side with basic settings in SD.

OVT0 is for creating account groups from Logistics Side with complete SD settings.

    Hi Sunil,

Both the T.Codes will give same result.

But the thing is, the path which we follow is different.

Instead of T.codes if you can go path wise, then you can see the difference.

First one we can get when we go using FI related path.

IMG -> FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING (NEW) ->ACCOUNT RECIVABLES AND ACCOUNT PAYBLES ->CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS -> MASTER DATA ->PREPARATIONS FOR CREATING CUSTOMER ACCOUNT GROUPS ->DEFINE ACC. GROUPS WITH SCREEN LAYOUT (CUSTOMERS)

    This is nothing but OVT0.

Otherone, we get when we go using Logistics General Path

IMG -> LOG. GENRAL ->BUSINESS PARTNER -> CUSTOMERS -> CONTROL ->DEFINE ACC. GROUPS FOR FIELD SELECTION FOR CUSTOMERS

    This is nothing but OBD2.

But normally we have to follow Log. General path, as some times we may not have access to go into FI related paths or transactions in real time.

    Hope this is clear.

    REWARD IF HELPFUL.

    Regards,

    Praveen
