How to stop activating release strategy for old Purchase requisitions.

I have a requirement to add release strategy to a new plant.

Now the problem is once we add release strategy to the plant, there might be a chance, if old Purchase requisitions have any change then this new release strategy will effect to that.

So, i don't want this to be happen. How can we achieve this.

3 options,

either add a characteristic for the creation date where the value is > Release Strategy Go-Live date

or you do this by coding in the user exit of the release strategy in enhancement M06B0002 (EXIT_SAPLEBND_001)

or you just see it as a security measure to even have old PRs fall under the release strategy if they get changed. (how often is an old PR changed and why?)

How you add release strategy to the new plant?

If new plant not added to release strategy - how your old purchase requisition behaves NOW on any changes to it on release strategy?

Sorry for the delayed response... if some changes happen to the old PRs, then they checks again the character regarding the amounts , if there is any difference then release strategy was reset with new release levels.

So, we just need that...system should not read the new values again. We have same problem with PO also.
