Converting 3.5 Workbook to version 7

Hi.

I'm having a problem with workbooks which I have migrated from 3.5 to 7.0.

In 3.5, the cell on the workbook becomes shaded to indicate that it has been drilled on.

But when I do the same in the 7.0 version, the drilldown works fine but the cell to indicate the fact stays unshaded.

Any ideas please ?

One possible option is to ignore our version 3.5 workbooks enirely and open the queries in to the default SAP version 7 template. However, the major limitation of this is that it fails to indicate the selection parameters (variables) used when running the query, and without this information the results of the query are next to meaningless - unless a user knows what dates/countries etc the report was run for, how can they understand the information. So, my follow-on question is whether anyone knows how to modify the SAP template to achieve this?

Getting urgent now!

Thanks,

Patrick

That is what the documentation would like you to think, but believe me its nothing like as simple as that! At least, it isnt to get the workbook working the way it was before, to meet user's requirements.

For your (and other's) general interest, our decision was to NOT move to version 7 BEx, we are remaining on version 3.5, and where we do need version 7 functionality we will develop it through Web, even though we hadn't used Web before.
