Error in Workflow --WORKITEM xxxxxx CURRENTLY LOCKED BY USER 'WF-BATCH()"

Im facing the a issue with the workflow , the log says that , WORKITEM xxxxxx CURRENTLY LOCKED BY USER 'WF-BATCH()"

I am dealing with Purchase Order Approval Workflow, this type of error often comes but when i try to manually approve it, it works.

But these days this error is common and client wants me to fix this..

I am new to workflows , so when I look at the conversation between u and Mike , I couldnt get it properly.. Can U please Guide me regarding this so that it would be handy for..

this happens when your Workflow is running a particular task repeatedly in small duration. You can delete the Lock entries from SM12 give user Id as WF-BATCH. This happens due to infinite loop in a workfliow.

Hi Arghadip kat,

I checked it in SM12 But there are no lock entries there... actually i retrigered the workflow and approved it .. is it because of that... the locked entry got deleted..

this issue often happens .. is there any way to resolve this completely...
