Hi gurus,

Is there a way to exclude a specific transaction from ST03N statistics so it won't appear in all sections of that transaction ?

(not filtering ! I need the collecting engine to ignore a specific transaction so it won't effect the history, workload, time profile ... sections)

configuration ? customizing ?

Hello,

I would be very surprised if that would be possible with ST03.

If you want to get the average dialog response time excluding one transaction, you can compute it by yourself.

Exemple from one of my test system :

Month average dialog response time : 545 ms with 81 994 dialog steps

Total time 545 * 81 994 = 44 686 s

I want to exclude Transaction SE16.

The stat for SE 16 was for the same month

358 ms with 4 142 dialog steps ; total time 1 485 s

The new monthly stats excluding SE16 :

Total time : 44 686 s - 1 485 s = 43 201 s

Dialog steps number : 81 994 - 4 142 = 77 852

The new average dialog response time excluding SE16 is then :

43 201 / 77 842 = 0.5549 s = 555 ms

Thanks for the explanation but I need to exclude the transaction so standart reports (daily, weekly, monthly) will ignore it. I would like to avoid calculating every time the response time manually.

any idea ?

If you want to get the info automatically, you'll have to write some custom abap code...

No free lunch, here !
