Copy email from PA30 to FK03

Hi,

I want to copy the email text from field PA0105-usrid_long (Tcode: PA30) into the transaction ceode FK03 ie. the field ADR6-SMTP_ADDR.

Can any1 please help me out. If possible put up a code...

hi Sabahuddin,

I guess your requirement is to see the same email address for a vendor like for the person in HR, I also guess that there is a 1:1 to relationship between records in these two tables.

In this case you have to search for a user exit in SAPMF02K (vendor create/chnage/display) and code it taht way that you read the field from PA... and put it into the target field. By saving the vendor, this field will also be saved.

Hi Eric,

You r exactly right. You understood my requiremetn correctly. In this regard, i would like to clarify, if its sufficient only to assing the text of that filed to the required field(i.e. FK03 field). but is such a case...we must write an update stamtent, and i am not getting a common key in both these fields. Canu eloborate onthis or tell me if you have sum other approach.
