Linking for Internal Order with Profit Centre

Hi Gurus,

Can anybody help me out with this query that a particular Internal Order to be matched with a particular Profit Centre

If anybody have solution pls share with me

Hi

Go to OBC4

Select field status group g002 which is for cost accounting and internal orders...verify whether the profit center is supressed..if it supressed make it as required entry

Path: Spro-->IMG --> Controlling --> Profit center accounting --> Assignment to profit centers --> assign internal orders....

OR

Go to KO02 i.e. change internal order ...

give your internal order ... enter and next screen in the assignement tab ...there is one field profit center...assign profit center there...

I got another issue which states that "Profit Centre is not related to Internal Order"

Can anybody throw a light on it and how can i find out the related profit centre which is assigned to that internal order

Hi

Check If your Internal order is assigned to a Cost center if So then check the cost center assignments, you cannot assign a profit center other than the one available in the cost center. Otherwise there are no restriction in the profit center assignments.

Hi,

To check assignments to profit center use transaction 1ke4 assignment monitor,

there you will be able to see what objects have been assigned to which profit center as well as all those that have not been assigned.

You go to the order type settings using KOT2_OPA for your order type check for the master data field list, I think profit center is hidden in this layout.

You need to go to the screen layout for the particular order type and modify it for the field Profit center as a input field.

Thanks for your reply, but my problem is i need to assign profit centre to the internal order and there is no field in that screen only company code is displayed

could you guide me what can be done to pop up that field, is it the matter of field status group? if it is, then where we can go to active this field status group, pls suggest

Is your profit centre active in OKKP.

Hi,

- you can assign a profit centre to Internal Order in the IO master data (KI01/KI03).
