Blanket PO

Hi,

I am facing a problem while creating Blanket PO from copying from another Blanket PO. I select the PO and adopt it in ME21N. But the fields vendor, account assignment category and plant are in display mode. I cant change for the new Blanket PO.But for standard POs, if I adopt also, all fields are in editable field.Is there any kind of environment field status related to item category? I have created blanket PO by giving item category 'B' and limits specified.My reqiuirment is to create Blanket PO from adopting from existing blanket PO with editable mode for above specified fields.

Hi Ashok

I am also facing same prob.

To overcome this i used to Search old PO with Vendor, plant,Item cat. combination (T code ME2M )

and copy that PO to creat New PO where u can change limit field.

don't know why it is happening but can be solved by above soln.

I tried that but ME2M is taking me to that particular PO , from where how can I copy and create one?

Do following

After getting Po number

go to ME21N

click Document overview on

Search for purchase order u selected

drag that to creat new Po

I think u have interpreted my first post wrongly

i mean to say Search for old PO which will satisfy ur need i.e. definatly u need certain vendor,Plant,Account assignment for new PO then search Po which meets ur criterial then follow steps as per second post so that u will be in position to creat PO with required plant,vendor and account assignment

U can change limit field in new PO.

There is no std. setting which will display plant,vendor etc. if u copy it from old framework PO.I am also in seach of soln
