Please could you brief me about pre requistes of installation of mobile client?

Currently, I have CRM server installed and it is another DSN.

Hi,

The question looks very generic. However, you would first need to setup the landscape for the Mobile scenario. You would need to then buy the SAP CRM Mobile Client installation DVD (for internal users, this is available on SMP) which contains the installation guide. The installation guide has step by step description on installing the mobile client.

The following are the pre req for all 3.

Microsoft .NET Framework Runtime 1.1

SUN Java 2 Standard Development Kit, Personal Edition Version

Below are the individual requirements.

1) Mobile Repository

Hardware Pre-requisite 1GB RAM

Software Pre-requisite SQL Server

2) Communication Station

Disc Space 4GB

3) Mobile Development Work Station / Mobile Client

Hardware Pre-requisite 1GB

Software Pre-requisite SQL Server

The Installables will be in the DVD you have.

The order of installation is Mobile Repository, Comm Station and then Mobile Client.

Hi ,

Have you started to install the client?

If you wish to modify the application at your end, then you will require the Mobile Development Workstation.

This will require you installtion the Mobile Application Studio and repository server.

For normal users they will only require the Mobile Sales Client.
