OVS Search(F4)

Hi all,

I had gone through the pdf given fir OVS Search(F4)and i downloded the ready to use project.I deployed successfully and runned the project.But the problem is After giving AirlineId,a special window is comming with table ,but no data is there in that table.

How to solve this problem??Can anyone please check this by downloading their project in theit NetWeaverDeveloperStudio

Hi

The application is built in such a way that it is connecting with the Back end. Check whether the data that exists in your back end. Better you can change the Back end Table ihe application which is available in your back end systems.

OVS is used for Search Help.

on click the value help icon which is attached to the input field, you will get a

popup which asks you for input

once you enter the input and search, you will get list of values available in the below table if you choose any entry the value is picked and placed in the input field.

Now you are not getting value in the table for a particular airline ID, just check in the table in R/3 system, whether you have data in the database table ( SFLIGHT ) for the AIRLINEID.

Hi,

i got the data require by using F4.

But i have a small problem ..According to my requirement i am having an inputfield AirlineId.Upon pressing f4 i have to get all the AirlineID's which are there in my database and if i select one among all , the one which i selected has to be popuped in that database

The decription and code in the link is not clear...

One more clarification i want??Is the procedure for my requirement and General(F4)

help is different or same

Hi Padma,

Actually it depends on ur requirement whether u want to use EVS or OVS .If u have huge data to show in f4 ,u should go for OVS
