I am probably doing something wrong - I know how to up-vote/down-vote ideas, it is the ideas list that I fail to understand:
If I don't want to up/down-vote an idea and click the big orange button, nothing happens.
Even if I display the idea details, click the button and refresh the page, it is still displayed.
I have tried this in Firefox ESR 45.4.0 and PaleMoon 26.5.0. I even allowed all possible scripts to run in my browser and I still could not get rid of this orange button.
Is this a browser-related problem or I just don't understand how it works?
Hi Veselina, Steffi,
I've alerted a colleague who might know the answer (via email...).

I have the same issue in IE and now at home in Chrome, when the orange monster box is showing up next to ideas I already read some hours ago.
Right now I see it next to almost every idea except for the first and the two latest entries. Also there is no difference if I voted on an idea or not.
Sooo maybe a bug?

I saw this yesterday too with IE 11. It did not seem to prevent me from idea voting up or down. The orange box did not do anything when clicking on it, and going into the details didn't change anything. For me it was more annoying to see it, but it did seem more like a warning than anything.

Apologies for the huge delay - it seems the notifications from this thread were overwritten from my activity stream, when I had only 22 items available
I don't see the button in Firefox at all now - is this the expected result?
If yes - then I need to close the question.
If not - when this acknowledge button in Idea Place needs to be displayed?
