Dear Experts,
We have requirement to implement RF functionality (Mobile data) with Inventory Management only. The client will not use WM functionalities.
The requirement is to use the RF scanner for capturing data and based on that system should process the IM functionalities i.e. Goods Receipt, Goods issue, transfer posting etc.
I got some inputs from my previous post, but needed more information.
Expert's thoughts are most welcome.
I found that we can setup one warehouse number only and configure the RF menu with required transactions.
No need to setup any WM relevent configuration.

Hi Arif Mansuri
I got the requirement need to use RF with IM only not in WM. I saw your answer saying that we must have dummy warehouse for assigning in RF que management in MDE.
Is any other way to do this with out dummy warehouse. please provide ur past experience and input.
Would appreciate your help.
Thanks
Selva

Dear SKB,
There is no requirement for third party tool (except hardwares i.e. scanner, server). It will directly communicate to SAP server using SAP console. Now point is standard SAP RF transaction menu is configured via RF Menu management with reference to Warehouse number so if we only want to use IM in this case, do we need to define a warehouse number? (However, it will not be linked with storage location to use that warehouse).
I have worked on the rest of the parts i.e. creating transactions for IM using Functional modules / BAPIs etc.
Any thoughts.
Regards
Arif Mansuri
