infotype 168 age group could not determined

Hi actually i did all the procedure of benfits plan.

But when i am going to do configure IT0168 it shows the error like the age group could not be detrmined and also it in Insurance covrage shows the red lighted marks.

Will you plz consider this query for my career. That to i had put age correctly …

Hi Saleem,

Check the age group parameter configuration - V_T5UBL

Find the age of employee and check whether the age group config has a value for that age.

In variants config section - Relevant data should be from "employee".

Are these problems happening only to one or two employees? Are there employees where there is no problem?

Is that Insurance Plan something new that you are in the process of configuring?

When you were trying to create an IT0168 for an employee, you had an error that the age group could not be determined? Through se16n, look at table T5UBL for the relevant Benefit Area and post the result. Look at the employee's IT0002 and post the result (hiding the employee's name and any other private information, such as SSN).

When you were trying to create an IT0168 for an other employee, the Insurance Coverage could not be determined? This will require you to look at the Benefit Plan Coverage Variant (V_74FB_B), the BP Coverage Rules (V_74FC_B), the BP Attributes (V_T74FA), the Coverage Groups (V_T74F2) and their use in Feature COVGR, and more. Furthermore, you have to confirm that the employee belongs to the appropriate Benefit Area and has a valid IT0008 ...

Check Age Groupings (in V_T5UBL), confirm that "Age" is a criteria for your Insurance Plan Coverage Variant (in V_74FB_B) and is used in the Coverage Rules (in V_74FC_B), and/or that "Age" is a criteria for your Insurance Plan Cost Variant (in V_5UBH_B) and is used in the Cost Rules (in V_5UBI_B).

While maintaining IT0168 - Insurance Plans, you take care of all prerequisit settings of benefits area in backend.
