Is it possible to bring in multiple views into the same query and give the users an ability to navigate to which ever view they want to, preferably in the form of a drill down. Can someone explain me the step by step process to do it.
Thanks,
Neha.
Neha,
In the Analyser the last view placed into a workbook will be the first variable dialogue box to be displayed. If you have different variables in the other queries, at the point that they are execute another pop up dialogue box will be displayed.
Where as when you use the WAD, all the variables are asked for up front.

I have to create a bookings, billings and backlogs query. there are set of key figures for bookings, billings and backlogs and the way the query has to be designed is that there should be a sort of drill down for all three, bookings, billings and backlogs. when the end users click on bookings the query would display all the key figures data associated with the bookings, when they click on billings it should display everything associated with billings and so on. They are looking at this data with a common master data drill down. How can I have a query where I can have three sets of queries, each one displaying a bunch of key figures with different restrictions and that too in a drill down form. I hope i am clear this time, if not i will explain again.
Thanks,
Neha
Make sure of free chars and let the users drill down and keep filters on the char values.

But how does that help me bring views together. I created these views in my Bex analyzer and i want to get these together so that all the views are available in one selection screen. My reporting requirement is of using a bunch of key figures on the same set of characteristics with different restrictions.
Thanks,
Neha
