Help Configure CCMS Alert to Trigger *.cmd file on Microsoft operating sys

Please advise me how to configure a *.cmd file to run a transaction log backup when a CCMS transaction percentage alert threshold is reached. I'm using solution manager 3.0 on a microsoft windows nt 5.0 operating system. I have SAP R3 ECC 5.0 640. I appreciate all recommendations. I'm not sure how the CCMS alert can initiate an event to trigger a manual backup file on the operating system.
