Providing links to view information in different languages

Hi All,

In one of my iViews which displays some company related information, I have to provide links "Read in French", "Read in Spanish". These links basically should show the translated content for the respective links.

Can any one suggest how to create such kind of iView with those links. How can I configure these links?

Regards,

Ravi.

    Hi Ravi,

    I think using the 'Internationalization' concept in webdynpro you can do it. Please refer to the link Internationalizationhttp://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2f/88dbc3223e4142a46194fabd1d98a9/frameset.htm">Internationalization> for more info about this concept.

    Hi ravi

    same thing we done already

    we done like this

    use Resource Bundle and properties files.

    1) u take one jsp in that u put links

    one language for one link when u press one link u include one jsp(each language separate jsp)

    for according to your requirement u provide german jsp

    in german.jsp

    you include the properties file like that

    Locale currentLocale;

    ResourceBundle res;

    currentLocale = new Locale("de","DE");

    res = ResourceBundle.getBundle("Localization",currentLocale);

    this is the process

    i hope this is very help for you.

      Hi,

      Can you provide me steps in detail.

      One more thign is, in my scenarion the links i have to provide is for News. I display news in English in particular iView and provide 2 links for say French and German. once i click on these links the text content get translated and should show in respective languages.

      For this case if I create JSP's its tuff for the user to maintaine the content in future. Is it possibel to do using XML forms or HTML editors?

      Regards,

      Ravi.
