Hi,
I have a question about Reverse Business Engineering database (RBE) usage for a client running 4.6C. Do the statistics (dumped via t-code STAT or STAD) only record usage for dialog transactions (called through the command window or the user menu) or do they record usage for run in background or batch through other transactions (through the end user's ID)? Thanks in advnace
I believe the stats record transactions executed either through dialog or background. But it will not record "called transactions" - ie - if you are in a tcode and it calls another tcode - it does not record the second tcode. It will also only record executed tcodes - failed executions are not recorded.

Thanks. I figured this was the case with "called transactions". Just curious, though, with SM20 logs (this client is not using SM20) does it also record the called transaction or merely the dialogs. My previous client used SM20, and I guess I thought it picked up called transactions with SM20 but maybe it's not the case with STAT or RBE.
This answers my question. Thanks for your help!!!
