Hi All,

I have installed ECC 6.0. I have added XI component also. Now i need to perform post installation steps for XI alone. i have downloaded the NW7 installation Guide MAXDB. is that enough? or should i need more documents....

Also, i found out a document for post installation guide system landscape directory of SAP Netweaver 7.0....

Which one should i follow?

Please clarify....

Thanks in advance,

Madhukar

Hi,

I have done the post installation of SLD using J2ee_admin user. i was not able to view the Administration page when i logged in with DDIC user for which i had assigned LcrAdministration role. So, i continued with J2ee_admin user for the rest of the post installation of SLD.

Is this ok or will it create problems in future?

After SLD Configuration, what is the next step.... Please suggest....

Thanks & Regards,

Madhukar

Hello,

As a post installation steps.....you have to configure the SLD as well as configure the CMS in that.....for that check the docs on service.sap.com for maxdb....bcoz in my company the installation is on Oracle db.

There are many steps in post installation....e.g: configuring adapters that u want to use, applying the latest patch, crating some RFC's.....that all u findout from the postinstallation docs....

if require any help then let me know....
