SEM-BCS Preparation for Consolidation Group Changes

Would there be any historical implications for data and otherwise in terms of implementing the SEM-BCS Preparation for Consolidation Group Changes after the system has been in the productive use already ?

Any quick howtos in terms of configuration ?

BR,

    Hi,

Conso grp changes are specific to Acquisition, divesture and method change. If any of the grp companies undergo any of the above activity, specific tasks assigned for this function needs to be executed.(at a comapny level or grp level)

Documentation relating to this is available on help.sap.

Just configuring the document types and tasks related to this function and assigning them in hierarchy does have any implications.
