Adding attachment to work items

Can you help guide me in resolving the below issue.

In SAP Inbox how do we enable attachmnet without explicitly clicking attachment Icon? I need add attachment once my work item is executed i.e the attachment screen has to be enabled automatically once I am out from my workitem.

Hi,

if you want to get another view after a workitem has been completed, you can either make the next step with "Proceed with dialog" and in this step, have an attachment dialog shown to the user. Or you can implement the method as a Modal call, in the tabstrib Methods of the Step in question.

As for attachments there are plenty oppertunities, depending on you actual needs. Either use BO SOFM or Selfitem, as the obvious choises, or you can refere to this blog:/people/rammanohar.tiwari/blog/2005/10/10/generic-object-services-gos--in-background

Hi Mikkel,

I am using the SELFITEM and the methods create and display. where i've checked advance with immediate dialog at header and and advance with dialog option in step properties in the tast that gets executed before the task NOTE_CREATE to create attachment. But I am still not able to get the attachment pop up open by default. Please help me.
