m working in inventory extraction,m very new to inventory extraction , i did initialization of stock

then

what are the steps to be followed afterINITIALIZATION OF OPENING STOCK, n m working in BI7

so pls provide me info what to do next??

Hi,

Assume u hav done Stock init @ R/3 for BX Datasource

BW Side

-Replicate DS

-Create Infopack and extract data upto PSA

-Activate relevant BC Cube/ODS/Objects

-Create Transformations

-Create DTP and Extract data to Datatarget(Its one time init activity)

-Compress reqst with 'Marker Update'

R/3

-Run the Setup tables for BF and UM DS's

BW

-Replicate to BW

-Extract data upto PSA and Create transformations and DTP and do INIT operation to the corresponding DS(BF and UM)

-Run the extraction for 2LIS_03_BF in BW

-Compress the request with ‘No Marker Update’ SET ticked .

- Run the extraction for 2LIS_03_UM in BW.

- Compress the request with ‘No Marker Update’ SET ticked or checked.

what r the Tcode to fill setup tables of 2LIS_03_BF/UM

and do i need to install DSO in order to load data from these datsourses to 0ic_c03?

if yes , what is the purpose of "ving DSO in that flow???

Hi,

T-code for filling setup tables for 2LIS_03_BF is OLI1BW

OR SBIW --> Settings for Appl-Specific DS(PI) --> Logistics --> Managing Extract Str -->Initialization --> Filling Setup tables -->Inventory Mgmnt- perform setup

See, to keep Staging ODS is depends on ur requirement.. if ur client wants more detailed level reports then u can keep ODS as staging before uploading to Cube
