Webdynpro ABAP configuration

Dear Collegues, I have in my platform an ECC6.0 installation with WAS 7.0 but I do not see any possibility to create in SE80 of Webdynpro ABAP application. Do you know maybe if the special configuration is requiered?

In SE80, select object type "WebDynpro Component/Interface".

Hello Andre thanks but as I said I do not see the object type "Webdynpro component/Interface" I'm not that blind

Hi,

perhaps you do not have the AS ABAP you need? In the system, choose <i>System -> Status</i> and then, in <i>SAP System Data</i> there's the <i>Component Version</i>. Beneath the input field there's an icon <i>Component Information</i>. The <i>Software Component</i> should be SAP_BASIS with <i>Release</i> 700.

Hello Heidi unfortunatelly in SE80 Repository I do not see the possibility of creating WD applications. The configuration seems to be very complicated but thank you for your help. Boguisa

well, you probably don't see a possibility to create a Web Dynpro application in SE80, because the standard entry point is via a Web Dynpro component, see the <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/de/408e41392fb85fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm">documentation</a>

Did you right click on your component (in the object list) and click on Create->WD Application ?
