hi
dist chanls are maintained differently because businesses want a clear flow of separation between the chanls through the material is delivered to the customer..
by seperating the dist chnls there is a gud scope of attending the customer calls on a timely basis.. which ofcourse again leads to customer satisfaction..
usually c in ur case.. in Direct dist chnl the word itself defines the type of channel it is.. through this channel most of the customer calls(orders) are directly attended...
whereas in Rate Contract .. they are mostly specific to the customers and not all customers are delivered thru this channel
Special Products.. the word special itself defines that the product is not for all...
c for the basic understanding Dist Chanl plays a vitial role in providing customer with a well versed and timely supply of material.. it also makes it easir for the business to supply material to the customer in a proper chanl.. so that the material gets delivered to the customer without any much obstacles and this also leads to business practices easy as there is a clear line between the progress of the business and the most performed dist chanl...
