data load flow

Hi,

I am loading business content infocube Annual Values 0FIAA_C01. The description which i got by right click in busines content shows me load flow as

3 infosourceupdate rulesinfocube.

How do i identify which are the datasource related to these infosource and how will be the load flow for eg will it be loading from Datasource to cube???

Hi,

this flow is as follows

DSources 0FI_AA_001 / 003 and 004 flowing through their respective CommStrs 0FI_AA_001 /003 and 004 and then to cube 0FIAA_C01

If your data flow doens't show the datasource it is most like because your ISources aren't connected yet to a source system datasource.

Hi Oliver,

I can see my IS in modelling section but when i try to create a transfer stucture by loinking it to respective datasource(DS with same name) i get error that datasource doesnot exsists in source system. i can see datasource in modelling section. is it that i have migrated my 3.x DS to 7.0. If this is the case how will i create my Flow?? wil it be only IP and then DTP???

Hi,

In BI 7.0 goto source sytem -> right click -> here you will get an option called display data sources or something like that with this option you can get your info source in info source tab.

Hi sankar,

With due respect sankar i guess you cud nt understand my query....i can see my IS in modelling section but cannot add DS while creating transfer structure..its giving me error that DS does not exsits in source system.

I wud like to know how shld i design my data flow.

yes if you have migrated your DSource you'll have to create a DTP.

After infosource u will get the names of the datasource too. Check them
