Mapping date field to 0FISCYEAR and 0FISCPER3

Hello experts,

when I map a date field of a DataSource to the fields 0FISCYEAR and 0FISCPER3 in an InfoCube I get the exception wrong_date RSTRAN 303!

But my date field must have the right format (yyyymmdd), because it works with 0CALDAY, 0CALWEEK etc.

I defined 0FISCVARNT as constant K4.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

hiza

    Hello Hiza,

if you are trying to that in transfer rules, you can not map it directly, you have to write an abap routine. If you are trying to that in update rules, you can do it by using a date like calday.

    Hello Hiza,

yes you can do it by using calday and fiscal variant. Other date related conversion could be done by those.

    Hello Hiza

When assigning the 0CALDAY to 0FISCYEAR and 0FISCPER3, you have options to direct asiign(1:1),formula routine....

write a routine to get value of these two target field from 0CALDAY...

    Thanks

      Ok, I solved the problem.

I overlooked that 0FISCVARNT missed an entry in it's master data for "K4".

Now I can set 0FISCVARNT in transformation to constant "K4", and together with 0CALDAY I get 0FISCYEAR and 0FISCPER3!

      Regards

      Hiza
