Dear Sandeep,

1.Requirement Quantity

Quantity of material components needed to produce the expected order quantity.

Use

In the standard Shop Floor Information System, this key figure is calculated when a material usage analysis is carried out. It is then updated in the information structure S026.

So this is the total of your BOM item's quantity.

For making A let's assume B - 2 quantity & C 2 quantity is required.

So the requirement quantity for making 1 A is 4.

2.Quantity withdrawn

Quantity of a component withdrawn when a goods issue is posted for a production order.

Use

In the standard Shop Floor Information System, this key figure is calculated when a material usage analysis is carried out. It is then updated in information structure S026.

Suppose you have consumed 3B & 2 C for making 1 A,then in the withdrawal

quantity it will be showing as 5.

I hope this will give you some idea.

Mangal

HI Sandeep,

Requirement qntys means planned qnty which is calculated from BOM

Withdrawal qntys means actual qnty consumed, when you do GR , it can be Auto GR, Manaul GR.

Thanks

Hi

Requirement qty : The qty requirement in the production order for the material as per BOM

Withdrawal qty : The qty that is entered in during confirmation (Actual consumption)

Hi Sandeep

Requirments quantity is the quantity of the components in BOM & withdrawal quantity is the actual component quantity consumed while doing confirmation(CO11n) or in MB1A or in MFBF while doing production booking.
