how to assign change password to the user

Hi

You can provide user with change password functionality by activating Get Suppot link on portal logon page.

Thanks for responding.

sorry for responding late, I stuck up with some other work.

I know that we can achive this by assigning eu_core_role.

My requirement is with out assigning these roles how can i get Change Password option.

Hi Suresh,

To get the userpassword iview ,Assign the the Portal Personalisation Workset from Portal Content>Content Provided By SAP>End USer Content>Worksets>Portal personalization to the role and assign the same to the user and there u will be having Userpassword iView.If you dont want rest of the iViews like usermapping etc,Select properties --> gives "yes" for Invisible in Navigation Areas -->Save.

hello suresh,

assign eu_core_role to the user

goto user admin

search with eu_* under the available roles

add the role to t he user

save.

Hi Suresh,

We can change password by using the personalize option present at the top right in the masthead area.

to assign personalize option assign the role <b>eu_core_role</b> to the user.
