Network Time Protocol implementation

Hi All,

Our Operating system for SAP (AS/400) is planning to implement a TCP/IP

protocol called Network Time Protocol (NTP) to keep times synchronized

across all servers/systems that we have. With this, we need your

expertise for us to determine the impact of this NTP if implemented to

our SAP application system.

Is there any perquisites or standard procedures and settings for SAP

before the Network Time Protocol implementation? Or any pertinent

information that you can share with us for us to understand the impact

of this change will have on our SAP application.

I am are looking forward to any reply/help on this matter. Thank you very

much.

    Hi,

there is nothing you can change in SAP, but you should know, that SAP "becomes angry" when the is set back more than 2 seconds.
