MTO consumed stock.

Hi,

One material master can be MTO or MTS, we using item category to control it.

A MTO sales order created with requirement type KEV. When there is no stock for that material, planned order (SO specific) can be successfully created. When there is stock, the MTO sales order strangely consumed the supply (common stock) and no planned order created.

Hi

Maintain the item category group as 0001, which is MTO, so if the stock available it won't consume the stock, it will automatically pur.req will be created.

More over in MRP Tab there is tab for strategy, we can set planning strategy as required.
