Make attributes in InfoCube navigational!

Hi Experts -

I have a cube in BW 3.5 and all I need to do is make a few attributes navigational. This cube is in production with data. We're in BI 7.0 but this particular cube hasn't been migrated yet. Its still in 3.5.

Can I just make changes to the cube? Or do I need to re-load data? Thanks!

Nope you don't need to reload data but you need to turn the attribute to Nav. and move it to production. Remember when you turn the fields to Nav. you need to activate the update rule as well in addition to the cube, otherwise, your update rule will be deactivated.

    Note:

Even if this cube has already been migrated to 7.0, there is nothing special you can do except to turn the fields to Nav. and activate it.

    thanks.

Turn on the nag attributes. SInce the chars is not in the cube as a dimension, you dont have to modify transformation or update rules; what ever you have.

If you have any multiprovider or info set, make sure you identify this char .

      Sorry Ravi.

I can't give 10 points to more than one person?

I assigned Wond 10 points and then it disabled your 10 points button. Is there a way I can assign 10 points to both?

Next time I'll assign you 10 points first!
